@barondla.... bike is easy to setup and fits in the trunk. Gotta work hard to keep thos 20" wheels moving

@scratchpaddy.... Always something new with train graffiti. No idea on the poem tho. I like your "industrial' pics. Makes me think of adding SD1 again.

@ivoire , I love that decrepit tractor in the woods! I know subject isolation is difficult in the woods, but that tractor's nose pops right out of the photo. It's good to see that Pontiac in much nicer condition, too. And the panorama: always fun to explore those.

@panzerfaustnl , Nice shots from you, too. Those elevated track sections remind me of the highway interchanges here. Seems weird to see trains made to carry people instead of freight. I love that classic Porsche, too. Too bad you weren't using a Foveon for that one.

I dug out some pictures today from last year's vacation to eastern Arizona that never got processed. Most of them were at ISO 200 on the SD1M and DP2M. I haven't been taking as many pictures lately, but I have plenty of old ones to process.

This picture is not that sharp. I blame the lens... because I set it to f/22. Hey, you can't put an ND filter on the 12-24.

12mm, f/7.1

DP2M, f/6.3

DP2M, f/2.8

@scratchpaddy, you're posts remind me that I have a lot to learn, I have not made one clear shot of a moving object with the Sigma SD10 or SD15.

Incredible cool shot of the running dog.

Yeah the Porsche was not mentioned to be here, it is made with an Canon EOS D30.

Some zoo pictures:

Wanting a bit wider for the DP2M i picked up the Ricoh wide adapter. My quick and dirty test shows a difference even when the adapter image is sharpened to 1.5 in sigma photo pro. Both at f8 100iso and cropped. The adapter will be useful in some situations (where backing up isn't possible) but i don't think it will be routinely attached.

Yes. Stick with 5.5 for now... unless you have a Quattro in the mail.

Slower, buggier (MacOS anyhow), and the few new options don't seem to make a whit of difference to my SD1M files. File browsing is improved, at the very least...
