Before seeing your moniker, I recognized the Chicago back porch. Nice ones!

Sighted this while cycling yesterday.

Constructive criticism, quite a bit to over sharpened for my taste, also some odd/high amount of noise for ISO 100.

I like the framing/composition of the shots though, especially the last
My problem with over sharpening is that the only way you can convert Sigma Raw files to tiff for import into my software is though the proprietary Sigma software, and the over sharpening is often instigated by that program, even though I have the sharpening turn down as low as possible. The trouble is they seem to be over sharpened before import into Aperture, and after import, there's nothing you can do to kill the artifacts.

I really should have bought to Sigma DP3.... the macro would have made the camera so much more useful for me.

Took some shots with my dp3 on the way home from work last night. I'm pretty happy with this one.

I've had the DP3 for about six months now and I enjoy shooting with it more than ever. It's a wonderful little camera.

Sigma DP2M

This shot yesterday with my new to me Sigma Merrill DP2M and also with my K3 and 16-50 DA zoom. Even though I have only had this camera for a week, the "look" and sharpness is amazing for such a small investment. It blows away my Pentax investment when the circumstances are right to use it. (Admittedly, a lot of limitations with this camera). Waiting for the FF and hope it will be as good as the Merrill.

DP2M Flower shot

First attempt at close up with the DP2M today. Got a lot of shots wrong, this one turned out pretty nice. DOF is very hard to determine, but love the colors.

This encourages me. I got hold of the screw on close up lens recently, but my first few attempts were less than brilliant.

Alas too much glare for much shooting today, but did capture this place, which looks appealing.
