It seems like Sigma will not be making FF Foveon sensors anytime soon:

Yes, the Full Frame Foveon (FFF) is delayed unfortunately. SIGMA is starting from scratch with the development. In the meantime we'll have to manage with devices such as the legendary SIGMA SD-1 Merill or the (in my opinion) excellent SD QUATTRO (H). Which is not exactrly a bad thing.

I am interested in Quattro (H) thanks to possibility of removing IR-Cut filter easily. It is two-spectrum camera when filter is removed and should work with Kolari's IR-Chrome. Gonna get rid of Z6 first. I read that Pentax batteries should fit straight in. D-LI90 that is.

SD3 M
Had this camera and all it's batteries listed on Ebay, after a week or more with some watchers I'm glad there were no takers, decided to keep it. Just love using this camera and really like the iq I don't know why I decided to sell it in the first place, if anything I just bought SD15. I still prefer mirrorless camera for manual focus, I'll see how it does. If I like it I might get SD1 one of these days.
My biggest wish would be FF Foveon in older (Merrill) sensor, I prefer it way more then Quatro ones. If Sigma made one for around 2K, I'd buy in a heart beat.

SD15 I received today.
Since I mainly shoot manual glass and settings, the photo taking is not all that different then most of my other cameras, so I don't feel as it's any slower for what I do. Battery life is surprisingly good, especially when compared to SD-M series.

Soviet 100mm aperture-less lens.

A few with SD 3M.

SD1M, got it a few days ago...... very well made especially when compared to SD14 and 15. internal lens micro adjustment is also a big improvement. Had a SD14 that was always front focusing.

Few pics (PS in Photoscape). Sigma 30mm 1.4 and Soviet 75mm RO2-2M

I purchased Quattro SD (non-H) from Japan & 17-70C from Germany and they are arriving in a day or so. Gotta do something about Foveon-Fever ;D It's now or never. D-LI90 Pentax batteries should fit right in.

Does the DNG saving work without any issues in Lightroom and Photoshop? I mean, do I get the maximum IQ only with Sigma X3F and Sigma Pro Photo or is DNG format okay for all purposes?

I own one as well...... I just shoot raw then extract file to jpeg in Sigma photopro as is without any changes to PhotoScape Xpro.
You can tweak RAW files inside the camera as well (most cameras can).

I have the Quattro SD now but no lens yet. I can however report that D-LI90 battery works perfectly with the Sigma. And Sigma battery works in K-1. The Sigma battery has one more contact pin, dunno what for. Both batteries also report correct charge level in both bodies.

Now I wonder if I can stuff some Pentax lens there. It seems to fit.
