Sony Nex Turbo Lens Booster Gear Porn

Some Takumar M42s on my lens turbo
in the first picture is my Jupiter 85mm f2..the white elastic band is there so I have no chance of dust getting to my sensor since I do not take the Lens Turbo off

Looking good. You don't have any rear element problems with any of the wider glass?

Can you post some images taken with the lens turbo?

I'd me curious to see how would it behave with the Jupiter.

Beautiful...thanks!

So far, what has been your experience with the lens turbo? how does the image quality compare to a regular "glassless" adapter?

I havent had any issues I adore it..I haven't played with my glassless adapter yet.
I bought the nex 5n used, then bought a 19mm sigma nex lens, then got the Lens turbo, then a m42 glassless.
So the m42 glassless and the 19mm are sitting on my shelf gathering dust.

It looks like there is no aperture control on it, so modern K-mount lenses without an aperture ring cannot be stopped down. Am I correct?

Couldn't use with Pentax DA lenses and they are not built for full frame so you probably would not want to use them anyways. But fully useable with Modern FA and some other third party lenses

from left to right
1. Pentax K to NEX adapter
2. M42 to NEX adapter
3. L39 to NEX adapter
4. Pentax Auto 110 to NEX adapter

I have both the K and M42 to NEX plain adapters. They both add bulk to the overall setup. I saw that the Lens Turbo is bit smaller compared to the regular K to NEX adapter. I wonder how the size compare and if you have a picture of the glassless M42 and your lens turbo next to each other, that will be great.

Size matters to me as I find the compactness of my K lenses kind of go away when I mount the K or M42 lens with the plain adapter

Tamron 24mm f/2.5 next to FA 43mm mounted on K adapter

Industar 50-2 50mm f/3.5 pancake on M42 adapter

The M42 pancake is quite small -- very cute by itself

The pancake appeal goes away when mounted on top of the plain M42 adapter

I am getting some help with great inputs from my friends in NEX picture thread and I will soon order the Lens Turbo for the Pentax K mount. I will hopefully share the use on
  • Tarmon adaptall-2 17mm f/3.5
  • Spiratone 20mm f/2.8 in K mount
  • Tamron adaptall-2 24mm f/2.5
  • Pentax FA 43mm f/1.9
  • Cosina 55mm f/1.2
  • Pentax FA 77mm f/1.8
  • Tamron adaptall-2 135mm f/2.5

Much thanks,
Hin
