Wanna go?

I don't think there are as many exhibits on Cockatoo Island this year, and a lot of them are video installations which I am not interested in. But Cockatoo Island is always worth a visit and you can take advantage of the cheap ferry tickets.

When I was there, these artists were talking about the politics surrounding the Biennale, specifically the protest surrounding Transfield's sponsorship:

They invited me to chat with them. I don't think they received a positive reaction from the audience, which surprised them. I kind of left when the discussion became a bit heated.

Yeah, I am thinking of going anyway, since you've already been I thought I'd ask. I recently acquired a fisheye lens so I am thinking the interior of those buildings on Cockatoo Island could be a nice place to test it out.

PS, are you planning on going to Mount Tomah this year?

I'll probably visit mid autumn to see the golden leaves. Might have to visit Mt. Wilson as well

This is from last autumn - we arrived just a bit too late - the road was featured in "Gatsby":

The OM 85mm is very easy to focus Christine , plus
its a very small lens , just a little larger than a 50mm

You are making me jealous now - I love small lenses. It's one of the reasons why I can't bring myself to buy Canon or Nikon - their lenses are just too big.

Here's another shot of the lemur - "caught in the act"
