Showing off my new camera bag - would you believe this bag can hold the A7r, three lenses, flash and a second body? Even has space to carry an iPad.

PS - photo taken on A7r with FE55:

Jupiter 8m (ltm)

A strange lens, probably a Franken lens (made up from various parts from other lenses) since its not supposed to exist.
J8m was supposed to be only made for the Contax RF mount, but this one is in ltm mount.
Perhaps the lens elements of a J8m using the body and helicoid of a Russian LTM lens to allow it to focus.
Or maybe really a limited run in ltm.

So glad to be using the A7r again. Such a big difference in quality compared to NEX6. And such a pleasure to use, just holding it and pressing the shutter brings so much joy. And the quality of the images ... oh, the quality!

And now for the torture test - the Voigtländer Super-Wide Heliar 15mm - there's significant vignetting, smearing and colour casting at the edges, but that can create a nice effect on certain pictures.

The colour cast is really obvious in this photo:
Oh oh. I had wondered how the heliar might fare on a Sony A7 as the lens is brilliant on my rangefinder (film) cameras. Too bad it doesn't translate into equally good performance on a digital sensor.

Wow, I woke up this morning and my video of the Lighting of Sails that I posted yesterday has been reposted by Vivid Sydney - so far viewed over 1200 times and reshared about 400 times.

seen him this morning so tried it on my camera , got home looked at the results and thought for the price it was
well worth having , so it should be mine next week
