A7+CV12

The CV12 is a wonder of a lens.
12mm, FF coverage and so small.

Wow, that is nice! Did you crop at all? I notice some corner softness and chroma blurring, but not a lot.

Thanks.
I did not crop.
Just did a Vignette +70 in LR.
Yes, there is softness at the last bits of the corners but given the small size, price and angle of view, I think its a fair compromise for me (esp. with a smallish camera like A7).
I don't think any other FF 12mm (notably the Sigma 12-24) will be much better in the corners too.

It's an excellent result considering the lens is regarded as problematic even on Leica bodies.

You will find the corner softness is due to colour shifts and smearing and it may be possible to increase the sharpness by shooting in monochrome. Apparently the smearing can also be reduced through post processing.

He uses A7 which is significantly better at corners than A7r.

Thanks for the info on the sharpness in monochrome.
I will take a look at it (and perhaps it can be worked into the color workflow too with the right layer blend mode... )

Some great shots guys, keep em comin'!

Love that photo of the girl in the miniskirt, and nice juxtaposition with the poster of the three guys jumping with joy!

I have an A7r and use it with Pentax A 645 lenses. I've got the 35mm f3.5, 55 f2.8, 75 f28, 150 f3.5. I use them with a MIREX Shift-tilt adapter and they are all great and easily do 36mp justice!
