It is a shame that I only take pictures when I have to sell the lens. All my Contax G gear are in marketplace. The Carl Zeiss Planar 45mm f/2.0 is wanting a new owner.

All were shot with A7 mostly in f/2.0 and some in f/2.8 with TechArt AF adapter

Lens is very small, mounted on TechArt AF adapter

Mounted on TechArt AF adapter

I actually like the lens but not any adapters that I have tried with Fotasy, TechArt and Metabones. It is a shame that I now want the FE 55mm f/1.8 and I have no fund but putting up my Contax G 90 f/2.8 and 45mm f/2.0 for sale.

Cheers,
Hin

seen him this morning so tried it on my camera , got home looked at the results and thought for the price it was
well worth having , so it should be mine next week
Tele Takumar 300mm f6.3 preset (WIDE OPEN)
Wow, rare lens indeed

PS - another from Vivid - the A7r is a great low light focuser, rarely hunts and surprisingly fast since it's CDAF only:

Not sure. I am disappointed that it does not do native 4K capture. Having said that, I like the concept - 12megapixels is all I need, really, for the kind of shots I do, and the low light capabilities seem good.

If Sony releases a Mark II with 4K capture (or even a firmware update) I'm in!

Vivid Sydney has been publishing some of my photos (including the bridge one above) on their Facebook wall - getting thousands of likes for a photo is certainly a novel experience for me.

Here's another one that seems popular: "Does anybody know what time it is?"

Another example of low light focusing - the A7r has amazing low light AF (without focus assist), very confident and accurate:

Christine, thanks.

I never thought I'd use the lens as much as I did for the trip as the perspective distortion might be too much.
But I used it plenty.

LOL - Ultra wide angle lenses can be quite seductive - once you start using it, it's hard to put down. I have used my 15mm for portraits

Trying Facebook video because I am getting sick of youtube. Facebook seems to mangle the video less, but has a 1GB upload limit.

Captured on Elmar 135mm lens - this video is weird - my partner said the ending is a bit like Neon Genesis Evangelion
