the sony fe55 is world-class, and the new fe70-200 looks promising... everything else in the fe lineup has compromises, i would only buy those lenses for autofocus use.

that guy sounds like your typical ancient fossil nikon shooter... they only know how to use autofocus.
after thom hogan published his horrible "review" on the a7r; you know, the one where he never mentioned the a7r evf... i had this pm conversation with him, and he told me that nikon users didn't care about manual focusing.
i think that he was right, and this proves it.
