I have been in Asia for about a month. *In Korea for about 3 weeks. *I spend quite a bit of time in Seoul, and this is the first time I have stayed relatively close to Dongdaemun Design Plaza. *Very interesting photogenic buildings which I have been getting very intimate with over the last few days. *These are from sunset last night - though as a result I missed the lanterns parade in Gwangwhamun in the centre of Seoul. *

This is the same 10 shot pano (handheld) processed in 3 different ways...

itshimitis, you seem to have the flamboyant new A7 body! Congrats. How do you like it? Is it very different from the 7RIII?

It feels better in the hand and the buttons are far more tactile. It feel to me to have more dynamic range - I feel I am recovering more highlights than with the MK 3.

A few from the exclusive adults only resort of LikuLiku, off Nadi.* It is perfect, but really very expensive - deluxe bures are £1000 a night for a couple and includes lunch, dinner and breakfast plus tea and cafetière coffee.* Everything else is extra.* We stayed for one night, spending the other 5 nights of our trip at the Sofitel resort.* Standard of food is very high indeed.* I find the Fijians friendly without it ever being fake.**

Was in Berlin on Sunday and the sky exploded with colour at sunset after a damp and gloomy day...

I've looked at your photographic work for a fair length of time. Your photographs are consistently exceptional....no matter the camera equipment used. I envy your photographic eye.

I am sure you are aware that Sony has come a long way from the A72 .

Sure! Though it usually does not answer the issue of lens size (70-300mm vs. 55-200mm). I mostly tend to prefer the A7II for that 35mm F1.4 look, apart from that F1.8 (or 1.4 on APSC) is enough DoF control for me. In addition long term system support, and price-DoF-weight ratio is key ^^

So: does an A6XXX with 18-135mm, 10-18mm and an A7X with primes satisfy my needs?

PS: I prefer the X-T2 in handling

I just got an a7III on Friday (Amazon finally got me with a BF deal), but I'm sorely frustrated with a Sigma MC-11+Canon 24-105/4 combo. Really nice lens, but I didn't expect the AF to struggle that much from what I had read online (super flaky at 105 mm). The 28-70 kit lens seems to be capable, and both of these samples with the Canon, but it's really hit and miss.

Focus peaking with m42 lenses is real nice though, I can see myself using those more often now.
