I need to figure out a way to knock down the greens on my A7RII. I'm using the muted color option on the camera (thats what I use for Canon and Pentax as well), and it works beautiful on other cameras...yet on the sony, its sickening saturated.

aside from shooting RAW, any other tips to knock down the green saturation in the body itself?

Some from a beautiful town in Thuringer, Germany. Three things that Thuringers do perfectly: Bratwurst, Mustard and chocolate box towns.

Sony A7R4 FE 12 - 24 f/4

Got new Russian lens today... Zenitar f0.95/50mm
Big and heavy for a 50 but it's so worth it imo. Compared to Leica that costs 10k, this is dirt cheap that I paid for ($560). I'm actually very impressed on the sharpens wide open, I excepted it be reasonably sharp at 1.4 but not at 0.95.
It's bigger and heavier then anything Chinese in this aperture range but it's also a superior lens by far. Excellent fit and finish, very smooth focus, zero internal dust.
On Sony A7 II

Typical Soviet dual aperture blade design. (as on Helios 40 or Jupiter 6).

Few test pic's.
All at f0.95

Good report on your new Russian lens. I have a very old MTO 500mm lens. I don't have a camera body with the right mount to fit it, but It seems to be a very ruggedly built lens and the wooden case it came in something to treasure in itself.

Hope you keep on posting pics from this lens. As a side note I see that there is a Russian made newer rangefinder out in the market.

Zenit? I've yet to see on one for sale.

Few more from Zenitar.
All wide open.......This lens really shines at night or low light, not so much at sunlight.
There are a few negative reviews of this lens, as I suspected they are bs, simple as that (or some lemon).
No other lens I can think of is as good as this one at 0.95.
Wide open it's as sharp or more so then Leica version and focus peaking works 100% accurate on my A7 II. If everything is not static then yes, it's easy to miss focus but that's the case with all other fast lenses.
Excellent fit and finish (as mentioned) and flare resistance? Well, it's still a 0.95, not made to shoot in to sunlight.
Yes, it is big and heavy but I'm o k with that, it's not meant for hickin
. And for me it's not even noticeable.
I don't do video and I'd prefer a clickable aperture, that is the only minor negative I can say about it.

Thanks....it got it without retail package on Ebay. So used I guess but looks like new.
I'm going to try it with ND filter outside.
The photos here are with iso 100 or/and 50.

I spent 24 hours in the city of Ulm in Baden Württenberg, SW Germany. During the day, I climbed the steps up the inside the spire of the tallest church in the world, Ulm Munster. Quite a view, but also quite a climb, and quite dizzy spell inducing when you descend.

A beautiful shot in a place I’m very familiar with! Pleasure to see you doing it justice.

Ardderchog! Excellent!
