It's a neat little something that most TV's, that people can afford, do not support. And will look choppy on your Computer because your crappy TimeWarrner South East connection cant handle the bandwidth.

The Seiki Digital SE39UY04 39-Inch 4K Ultra HD 120Hz LED TV is $399 and there are many 4K videos on youtube taken by 4K smartphones like the Samsung Note 3 that sold 10 million in the first 60 days.

Jogiba, they don't actually play at 4k on the web do they? I thought Youtube downsampled stuff optimizing it for web delivery.

They do play at 4K if you have a 4K display. I have two 30" 2560x1600 monitors and here are some 4K 2160p screen captures :

That is only for professional 4K video and XLR audio recording. The optional battery grip is a normal size.

The new Odyssey 7 monitor, recorder, playback deck and HDMI-SDI converter should work great with the GH4 interface unit.

For a short time Phototools unveiled the price of the GH4 camera. We don’t know yet if this si the correct price or not. What we know for sure is that preorders will be accepted from March 17 only at Amazon US (Click here). That’s a fair price considered the only compettitor right now is the Blackmagic Design Production Camera 4K which sells for $2,995.00 at BHphoto (Click here).

Stars of the show: Panasonic Lumix DMC-GH4

Another popular attraction was Panasonic's new GH4 - the first stills-oriented interchangeable lens camera to record 4K video. Here it is wearing the rather lovely, but very expensive Leica DG Nocticron 42.5mm F1.2 ASPH OIS - which is the fastest image-stabilised lens on the market by a comfortable margin. This may sound superfluous for stills photography, but should be good for shooting hand-held video.

Panasonic was showing a 4K movie recorded using the GH4 on a couple of suitably high-res displays, and the image quality was absolutely stunning.
