Post your Sony RX10 photos

One of my Christmas gifts from a colleague was a £500 voucher for a camera shop. Knowing that my wife's view of me having more camera gear ("I'm not buying you any camera gear for Christmas, so don't ask for that" was the suffix to the statement "I never know what to get you") I decided to use the voucher and use my trusty Sony RX100 mark 2 as part exchange which meant I only had to top up by £100.

With a 24 - 200mm effective zoom with constant f/2.8 alongside the same excellent Exmor 1.0 sensor, this wasn't a difficult decision to make. Here are some shots with it today:

If it had faster zoom I would pick this up.

If i had all the money in the world this and the x100s would be my light travel go to combo.

Thanks!

It was a very damp day in the Lake District yesterday, so the RX10 more than proved it's worth, fitting into a large inside pocket of my coat

Not unusually, A wet day in London:

sunlit waves and storm clouds

Needed to pack light, so didn't pack a normal tripod. I used a tiny manfrotto that is about 6 inches high. This age me an interesting respective on the wet streets of Belfast

Superb pictures, itshimitis.

My favorite is the one where the sun is hitting the crest of the waves. But there's too many great shots to mention. It's clear that you bonded well with this camera, and that it seems to be worth the asking price.

Took these as the plane I was on was on final approach to London's Heathrow Airport. Rules on use of electronic devices have been relaxed so able to take photos in all phases of flights

Great pictures! I especially like the b&w landscapes... Do you have any examples of (human) portraits?

I don't take many, but I did take one or two of some colleagues I was working with in Tokyo last week
