it's a "video review" instead of a text review.

Yeah, pretty funny. Interesting what the general public thinks. I call conventional DSLRs the Darth Vader look. And why, pray tell, is that normal and something with dials is "retro", I wonder. And the assumption it is only for the hip completely misses the fact how many other cameras can you take out for walking around and get as good of high ISO performance in low, evening light, I wonder again.

yes, that sensor is the main attraction for me, as it should be for many photographer for that camera. Not for the looks.

I just compared the 16mp DF vs my low buck 16mp Sony NEX-3N @ 6400 iso and it does not look that much better IMHO.

Nikon DF vs Sony NEX-3N @ 6400 iso

I like the image on the left, the image on the right looks softer. Could also be lens that's affecting it too.

Interesting the difference is insignificant to you here but that A7r vs D800e review you posted by some guy was a significant difference to you when his test was only a noise test.

Edit: 2EV more of DR between IS0 800 and ISO 1600 is insignificant to you?

Funny video but basically one joke stretched out to 20 minutes.
Could have been done in 1/4th the time.
I guess since it is re. df you have to do it slower?

lol wait, the lens that comes with the Df has a fake aperture ring, that doesn't actually do anything? Now THAT is funny
But yeah, the review part is actually not bad. The fact that some settings have mechanical dials and can also be changed digitally.. but will then the mechanical dial will show the wrong number.. thats just really.. ugh.. seems like a sloppy job.. like something a cheap knock-off, let's call it "Mikon", would do
I can't believe people complained about the looks of the K-01 and even the K-30.. at least those were functional

The DF body cost $2,746.95 at B&H :
Nikon Df DSLR Camera (Black) 1525 B&H Photo Video

The Sony NEX-3N with 16-50mm PZ OSS lens cost $349 at B&H :
Sony Alpha NEX-3N Mirrorless Digital Camera NEX3NL/B B&H Photo

BTW what A7r vs D800e test are you talking about ?

No, it doesn't. It has a silver band is all; otherwise, it is their regular 50/1.8G lens.

It's not about best band-for-your-buck argument. If you want to include that attribute you need to assess what value things like faster auto focus with high end lenses like their 70-200/2.8 mean to you ( if you happen to want to shoot some action for example). And I believe that makes the Df is a more versatile camera in terms of photographic scope if that is any value at all.

Somewhere about a week ago you posted it. I don't remember exactly where.
