Zeiss Ikon Icarex 35s (BM)

I picked up this camera, with a Skoparex 3,4/35 lens at a thrift store on Sunday. With the exception of a sticky mirror, (it seems to get better as I use the camera), will the lens work on my K10? I'm sure I would need an adapter of sorts. The lens is near mint. The body is in wonderful shape, but the previous owner scribed his name and some sort of code, (not a ss #) on the bottom and back of the camera. Also it was in a hard case with the verbage Zeiss Ikon Voigtlander. Do I have a gem or a shelf piece?

that sort of thing is why people bail out on proprietary flange mount cameras... what you need is a mirrorless camera, that doesn't cripple what you want to do, because of minimum flange-to-sensor distances.

get a used nex3, or similar... it's a brave new world!

there aren't too many 35mm or wider lenses on those old cameras, i've often wanted to mount something like that on my a7r, but it would be much more compatible with a crop sensor mirrorless camera.

here is what might be the most thorough adapter kit for mounting everything from old lenses like that to enlarger lenses: Das VNEX - System

chrome will automatically offer to translate the page... those guys also hang out here: View Forum - Manual Focus Lenses

keep us posted how it goes!
