Nice shooting Paul! I like these kind of shots!

That old Coke machine is like the one at Scout Camp when I was a kid. I put my dime in for a cold Coke and I got one....and over $15. in change.......I loved that old machine! Made my camp experience so much more fun!

Regards!

Thanks Rupert - that Coke machine is just a little before my time, although I recall seeing them when I was really little. Yes, the X10 makes a pretty nice street shooter - light and compact. It's now my go-to camera for hiking around Main Street. Here's one from Sunday morning at the train station. The train makes 2 trips every day down to the Ft Worth Stockyards and back.

Nice shot Paul! You do very well with the X10. Great little camera!

We rode the Trinity Express a while back from Ft Worth to Dallas. It was a fun ride and we enjoyed it very much.

X10

We did not care for downtown Dallas. Unlike Ft Worth, Dallas is full of panhandlers, beggars and street hustlers. They were a real nuisance. Not a problem in Ft Worth, where security is everywhere.

Backside of the "Grassy Knoll" where there was allegedly a "2nd gunman".

Oswald was here....in that open window.

Yeah, the Ft Worth experience is nicer for sure. Dallas does have some interesting sights though, and some good photo ops are there. My only photos have been taken with a DSLR, so no pics from me on this thread!

So much rain this year.

X20 ...or X10? My new boots.

Here is an old Toy Camera shot from maybe 1970s? My parents, Grandad, me peeking out...and a lovely Mrs RUpert up front....I think she was 12 or 13?

An old Polaroid SX70 Toy Camera shot...

An old Brownie box Toy Camera shot

Baby Rupert enters the world!

...and it hasn't been the same since!

My Mom could have been a Movie Star!

Those old cameras did pretty good, were easy to use and saved tons of memories for future generations. I hope we are doing the same with our modern day wonders. Toy Cameras can always be ready, always be with us...they are wonderful!

Just wow, Rupert - maybe not technically perfect, but who cares? The old Brownie box was my first camera - took a ton of b/w photos as a kid. Fun times.

Was.... we had a few nice days, the Outer Hebrides can be quite beautiful, only problem when its sunny is the midges come out and you get eaten alive!

Not got a clue what they are Rupert..... we normally use streaky bacon keep chicken/turkey moist or wrap around sausages. We normally have back bacon as day to day bacon.....

Harris and Lewis was very nice (sorry not toy...)

Cheers, Steve

What island? I visited Skye, Mull, Iona, Ulva and Lunga in June.
