Chloe, lounging as usual...taken with a new-to-me Panasonic Lumix LX3 - a very nice older premium compact.

Very nice.
I’ve been considering one of those (camera, not cat.)

Thanks I'm still learning my way around it, but like it very much so far. The metal build is very reassuring and it's loaded with options. I was patient and snagged one off the 'bay for $40, although they typically sell for about twice that.

From September with the LX3:

Congrats, the Lumix LX line is a nice one, usually with good physical controls I believe. Not quite as nice as a Pentax LX, of course

Meanwhile I play on with long exposures with my phone. Made several attempts at getting a dark and spooky result in the fog. This was the best of the shots.

I think this is actually the closest I have ever been to posting a selfie

Taken mid-September on a lovely evening at Lake Grapevine, using an old Canon SD1100 p&s:

This little pond is located on some nearby church grounds. Taken a week or so ago. Panasonic LX3 (yes, that's Jeannie in the foreground)
