Ha! Yes, well it wasn't as warm as it looked that day - maybe 65F. Most of those leaves have fallen from the trees by now as well, so it appears a bit more "wintry".

Here's a pano-style crop shot from the Panasonic LX3 (there were power lines above that needed to be "cut").

I guess they turned out to be a bridge to nowhere - I'm talking about the "bridge" cameras of ten or so years ago - an eon in camera time. Not as capable as a proper dslr, not as pocketable as a point and shoot, maybe destined to oblivion from day one. The modern phone camera obsoleted the bridge, just as it did the point and shoot. But that doesn't mean they can't be fun to use, even now. This shot was taken with a Pentax X70 last July, and it has the jungly lush greenery that says summer. I'm posting it here so we don't forget that this dreary cold gray weather of January will end soon enough.
