Utica was one of the last American cutlers standing making traditional style pocket knives. I bought this trapper new in 2011 and took the picture with a Panasonic Lumix FS7.

A little Schrade pen knife - perfect to carry to the office, does everything you need and non-threatening. Old stock from one of the greatest American knife makers. Lumix FS7.

I (fairly) recently bought a Benchmade for light work, and was quite impressed. There are few folks still making quality in the USA. You pay for it, mind.

Gah! Don't remind me. Together with DC Reagan, lots of type II fun.

The tent is a MSR Zoid 2. Best lightweight backpacking tent I ever had. Unfortunately it's not made anymore so I had to replace it with a Hubba Hubba - The Zoid is a much better tent but getting a little ratty these days.
