Thanks for reminding me. Its my Aunt's 94th today and I haven't been in touch for ages. She's getting very frail (a hip replacement a couple of months back and an ongoing infection ever since) but mentally is still as sharp as a tack. She's the last of that generation (my Dad was the first to go, back in 1989) and deserves more attention than she gets.

Well, we thought we were being selfish with the weather up here, so we thought we'd share. Enjoy!

You'll have to wait a few days, this is what I woke up to this morning!

We've had great weather most of this winter...lots of 70-80F days, but here in the last days of Feb cold has struck!
By this afternoon we did manage to climb to 60F....Spring is definitely close!

Regards!

Another month for us. On the plus side, it might be a chance this weekend to see a frozen Niagara falls.... On the other plus side (so to speak), it wasn't -20C here today (no positive C days in Feb this year).

A couple from earlier in the week with a Powershot SD1100 (xposted)
Rupert - the "creek" in that photo is actually part of Lake Grapevine. This part was dry most of last year, but with the recent sleet/snow, now has some water!

Paul....It looks like a place I used to go on Lake Grapevine, many years ago. There used to be blackberries on a nearby hill.

AldaCZ...I think I can safely speak for Paul too...if we could we would send you all the snow we got and keep our 75F sunny days!

Regards!

Don't know if I have posted this before.....sorry if I have. I'm old......not too bright....can't see well, can't hear well, pee a lot, and have two bad feet....so I should be easy to forgive!

Just ran across this in one of my galleries and thought it was a cute little fellow! My grandson's teacup terrier...of some kind? He told me what kind but I forgot....remember...I am old and forget a lot...anyhow, that's what Mrs Rupert says! I think it's mostly because I forget to do all the things on her list of "to do" items.....heck, if you saw the list you'd develop a bad memory too!

Cute little guy!

You guys post something so I don't have to ramble!

My grandson has two of them Auggie and Iggy...they look like twins. One is easy and calm, the other is a terror on four legs!

Sweet little doggies for sure!

Regards!
