Yes Mr Bassie...that and my new Big Chicken! ...but I'll be back to my Toy Cameras in no time! Tomorrow I will get some shots of my Big Chicken with the X20!

It will be hard for the X20 to match the K5IIs!

Regards!...you have a great break and take lots of shots, and post them here!

Big Chicken! We used to have a pet duck we found at a pond a couple years ago. He would dive into the pool & go swimming with me all the time I have a few p&s shots I'll have to dig up.
A couple walk around snaps with a Powershot:

Spring is in the air....or is it Fall? Our neighbor's yard looks like it's stuck in a December time-warp! Taken a few days ago..

Nice shots Paul....we are just now raking leaves here..there are billions of them!

A couple of X20 Big Chicken shots......with better settings I think they would be decent.

Not the nice detail of the K5IIs, but not bad...for a Toy Camera!

Regards!

Yeah, when it is ugly, I sometimes re-work it to make it more appealing. Just sort of playing around...I do that a lot! Glad you liked it!

Pretty quiet in here lately...? Seems all the toy camera shooters are back to using DSLRs these days . Here's a bunch of recent ones, using a Canon Powershot SD1100 IS:

Well, you know how it is when you get a new camera! Since I got the K5IIs (great camera!) I have been shooting like crazy with it, but I have certainly not abandoned my Toy Cameras. Soon I will tire of a big bulky DSLR and be back full time Toy Camera shooting!

Here is one from this morning shot on my bathroom mirror. Lens reflection on the left...
X20

Those are some nice shot you posted Paul! Very complimentary of your Toy Camera and your handling of it! The wildflowers are everywhere here too...gorgeous! The rain has really brought them out in masses!

Regards!

I have to confess While cleaning my woods from dead ones

When you are lazy to take out a SLR from the bag

And when silence is golden
(It has looked MUCH better in real life..I wish I had...medium format for the bokeh )

Apologies I've been AWOL shooting film on an Olympus XA and Pentax MX. Should be back to the X30 soon.

Cheers, Steve

I've not been shooting anything much except DSLR for a while. I'm feeling the Ricoh GRD3 urge though. Perhaps this weekend.

Made it out with the X30! went up the road to Tuckingmill Valley Park.

This park was waste land until a group of volunteers cleaned it up, it was once quite a busy mining area.

Mr Bassie....You did good! Great shots!...you always do good!

AldaCZ...That is a gorgeous shot of a lovely bloom....bud!

Skank....You always make the X30 shine! Nice shooting and glad to hear someone did some cleaning up!

Just got back from my favorite spot in the world .......Big Bend. Here are a few shot with the X20 & X10.

X20

Marfa Texas X20

Ocotilla cactus bloom X20

Big Bend desert X20

X20 Prickly Pear Cactus

Santa Elena Canyon X20 (The Rio Grande River divides Texas from Mexico here)

Ocotilla cactus ...long and tall with very sharp spines like a rose bush but longer and sharper.
X10

Ocotilla bloom X10

Spiny cactus
X10

Bluebonnets lined both sides of this road for over 20 miles.
X10

X20- Old steam machine ...Skank probably knows a lot about these?

X10 Old Rupert.....Mrs Rupert made me walk!

More here....

It was a great trip, beautiful weather, family and good food...near perfect!

Regards!

Note: I could have shot a lot more with the X20/X10, but favored my new K5IIs. It is hard to shoot with two cameras. I was very pleased with the Toy Camera results. K5IIs is great, but so are Toy Cameras....and they are easy to carry and handle!

Forgot....shot this in my shop just as we were leaving home...isn't he handsome!
