Nice iPhone shots

Sony RX100 - I was at Victoria Falls and while I was walking around looking for things to photograph at the lodge I was staying at (the late afternoon light was killer) I saw this butterfly perched on these flowers - it kindly posed for me to get close enough

One of the reasons I got the X10 was *because* the dogs are almost always with me! But the camera is not quite a P&S unless you're in EXR mode. There's still a bit of fiddling with settings using the other modes - I'm in Av most of the time. Still, it's a nice upgrade in IQ from my old Canon.
My x10 arrived yesterday. I got it for Christmas to replace my canon sx260. I was very happy seeing the test shots on the camera screen last night. EXR was great. My canon may be quickly forgotten - unless maybe I just need that extra zoom for something. Hopefully, I'll get some shots posted in here soon.

Toy camera photographs can be processed as easily and as well as big camera photographs.

Ouch. Wonder where it went. I'll see if I can attach it now. Thanks Paul. Still loving your pond shots. No doggie this time, I see

Hmm, actually I remember now. I tried to attach 2 shots. Clearly that isn't allowed, so none turned up. Here's the other.

I just bought a used Nikon P7000 for under $100 (my limit) shipped.
It's not as cool as a Fuji, but it should get me a charter membership in this club.

Congrats on the new camera. I was thrilled about getting mine for $130. We love our toys, don't we?

Best Regards!

First shots from my new Fuji x30 today. Still working on what settings I like. Also this is all new to me as I have decided to shoot only jpeg with this camera - been shooting raw exclusively with my Pentax gear since switching over from film. Not too bad for OOC jpeg's with just a tweak of shadows and highlights - also was foggy and dreary which didn't help....

I hope all your Christmas' went without a hitch! Boxing day today, a day to sit and stew with aching bellies from yesterdays feast!
Any one get any nice toy camera as gifts? My wife spoilt me with a couple....

Fuji Instax Mini 90 which I've fancied since they were released.

Some Lomo motion camera? takes 4 shots and slight intervals on one frame, could be interesting....

And a lovely camera bad so I can get all my gear in one place in prep for my sisters wedding!

I hope everyone had a great day.

I wish you a prosperous new year from Cornwall!

Cheers, Steve
