See, what you now need is the Canon Pro1 - you can even get the "L" glass red band on the front......
It's on the list! (I had to look it up)

This walkway parallels the road running alongside the lake (out of view at left) iPhone5:

These folks were having too much fun on a very hot (100F) evening at the lake. Canon SD1100 IS:

Today's contribution to the Daily in September Challenge, a snap with my phone on my way to the dentist. Good subjects crop up when you expect it the least

Well seen!

Another phone shot. Looking down after climbing the stairs, just to return down again

Yeah, I was careful not to drop it.

Cool composition - would have been a great entry to the geometry competition if you hadn't already put in three great ones

Hi All, sorry had a bit of time away from posting photos, not really been taking as many as I would like..... been getting my wrist repaired (screwed and glued now) and playing with my engines... some cycling when I've not been broken as well.....

Most of my engine pics are taken for a magazine I write for occasionally, so mainly to get a view of the engine rather than a bit of style...

Sadly my X30 gave up the ghost the other week, it still functions but the EVF isn't working which is a nightmare, it's currently sat waiting to go off for repair, so been using my phone, a Huawei Mate 9 with a "Leica" camera.... pushed them through snapspeed.

Anyways will send the X30 off and might see if I can get my X10 back in the meantime....

Cheers, Steve

Ouch! I hope you're on the mend!

Sorry to hear about your X30. But... Yay, another "Leica" user And good use it is, too! I've found the Huawei to have a really nice camera. Plenty of noise already at base ISO, but that's the nature of these tiny sensors. No matter, people worry too much over noise anyway

Noise is the reason I bought a Fuji had some of the best noise.... It's not a bad wee camera for fitting in the pocket, has it's limitations though I don't think quite up to the hype. It's as close as I'm going to get to a Leica....

Hands pretty much fine now, still lack of movement but I've had that for 6 years now, bone graft stopped a pesky bit of bone from digging about in there.... it looks better than this now..... just out of cast here.

Wow, good to see posts and photos from you, I missed them--and the surgery. I really like the architectural shots, BTW. I stopped using my X-10 pretty much, too many other options these days, and that phone is always with me, only to capture what I see in the moment as well as possible. It works. Best with a full recovery Steve!
