Noise is the reason I bought a Fuji had some of the best noise.... It's not a bad wee camera for fitting in the pocket, has it's limitations though I don't think quite up to the hype. It's as close as I'm going to get to a Leica....

Hands pretty much fine now, still lack of movement but I've had that for 6 years now, bone graft stopped a pesky bit of bone from digging about in there.... it looks better than this now..... just out of cast here.

OUCH!! Glad its getting better!

From a dogwalk in mid-September - it doesn't look a lot different now. Canon A560:

Tail end of a tropical storm hit over here in England, lovely and warm just windy! We go off fairly light compared to Ireland, surprising as Cornwall stick out into the Atlantic. I was going to go to Porthleven where most of the iconic storm pics are taken in Cornwall, in really bad seas the waves go over the clock town on the mouth of the harbour. But decided it was too cliche so went up to Rinsey to take some of the mines. I mainly used my X-Pro 1 and tripod but took a couple on the phone when I could stand up!

non-toy camera photos here if interested...

Nice shots. Heard about that storm, pretty nasty from all accounts. Going to look at the flickr shots

TVM!

I didn't notice I left my phone in square format.... Had a go with the "HDR" effect today on the Mate 9, sky was quite nice on walk back from Parent Evening in the school.

More Mate 9 action from Truro, not a lane I walk down often, it's a really nice City though probably the size of most villages in America....

We've had some nice mornings down here recently, winds have been up to 45kts and raining sideways the rest of the day but the mornings have been nice....

Throwing one in, because I havent, for a while. This bird is NOT dead. It was sunbathing. Its an unusual behaviour, but maybe not so much since I had a magpie doing the same thing in my back yard last year.

That I have never seen!

This image I dug up for the Scavenger Hunt thread, but figured it fits well here, too. It was taken with a Canon A70 back in 2003 - my first digital camera.

This is from Axum, Ethiopia. The broken stele in the foreground supposedly fell over shortly after it was erected, probably in the 4th century. There are several standing, but this would have been the tallest one at 33m/110ft.
