I had the chance to try out the Canon CHDK hack on a damaged 330HS last year.
w/o the auto distortion correction and cropping, the lens is surprisingly pretty wide

I was given a Panasonic TZ70 for Xmas, for use on lockdown walks. It is not a bad camera, I shoot raw+ and process in DXO Photolab 4, which means I can use "Deep Prime" noise redution. A few recent ones

Toy Camera??

My 'toy' camera is a Ricoh WG-4. I only call it a toy because it came with a heavy duty carabiner attached to it allowing me clip it on my belt. I have taken this camera everywhere, while kayaking, trail walking, skiing and swimming. It is waterproof, which I love. My favourite is to video record underwater. My K-3 is my favourite, but my 'toy' has a special place in my kit bag.

Goes to show that it doesn't require an ILC to get interesting bokeh effects.
