That must be a joke , try shooting handheld without a tripod. A small 36mp full frame mirror less camera would have much better image quality.

And that is the voice of experience talking? You can shoot a 4x5 handhold. People have been doing for years with a Speed Graphics and a once common press camera.

Why a joke?? Any movement during taking a shot is much less "enlarged" compared to any DSLR. I can see no reason why this light camera should not be useable hand held.

I had Wista and Cambo 4x5 cameras and never shot handheld with them. So tell me , how often do you shoot handheld with 4x5 cameras ?

Pretty awesome ! How one is putting the film in - if all the back is occupied with that massive focusing screen ? How is the visibility in the bright sunlight ? Could anyone advise on these or point into the right direction ? Thanks

They used flash with 4x5 Speed Graphics so are you talking this 4x5 handheld with flash or what ? Tell me what aperture and shutter speed this will be used at handheld.

What is funny I was going to build something similar to this to use my Schneider 90/8 on it for a portable, handhold 4x5. But this thing looks even smaller than what I could come up with.

Again, you are clueless. Did you actually take any photos with your 4x5s or did you just collect and sell the gear?

My grandfather shot 4x5 handheld routinely as a wedding photographer. It was the standard modus operandi of the '40s and '50s.

A 4x5 with no tilt shift, hmmmm.... still, pretty cool. How good is the lens you ask? With a 4x5, it's just not as important. a 4x5 print is a contact print, an 8x10 is only a 4x enlargement.

Compared to your APS-c where 4x is 2.25 inches.

I used a tripod. So get off your high horse and tell me what aperture and shutter speed you use when shooting 4x5 HANDHELD.

Here is one of their shots posted on Flickr so YOU tell me what do YOU think was the shutter speed and aperture and was it handheld.
