That would be a good design, since it is similiar to the X-T1 camera.

mmm I am thinking that such a big sensor probably needs a considerable heatsink... I believe Nikon D800 will have lower noise in long exposures than Sony A7r (assuming itīs the very same sensor) because of lower temperature. Or Sigma DP merrills can do 30sec maximum exposure time while the DSLR SD1 (same sensor) can do 5 minutes maximum. Film on the other hand didnīt need heatsinks...

Well they already make the lenses for the Hasselblad H system, I wonder if Hasselblad will have anything to do with the cameras design.

Hasselblad is in a lot of financial trouble (again) and its insanely priced re-branded Sony cameras didn't go over very well. Fuji might buy Hassy, but I doubt it. Fuji is doing a really good job designing their own bodies and they they have a long history of professional grade MF range finder cameras.

I think there is good chance Fuji skips FF and goes MF. Fuji has always been really good at skin tones and many professional wedding tog's suffered through the "S" Series DSLR limitation because of how well those sensors handled colors and DR. The Super CCD sensor with its hexagon pattern was pretty innovative. The recent patent on it RGBW with bigger pixels for green and white looks interesting, and the organic sensor tech is also very promising. Fuji is one of the few companies that really pushes the envelope. This is why I can see them being one of the leaders in MF mirrorless.

Is it a coincidence that Digital Rev has decided to review the rather old Fujifilm GF670 Rangefinder camera and the Hassy X-pan which is made by Fuji?

Come on, this is Fuji we are talking about: Expect something odd or something brilliant you never new you needed. But never ever expect something you hope for.

That is putting it mildly - I don't think they sold in significant numbers anywhere.

Skin tones - yes, everything else in the colour spectrum - no. I've had issues with clients over colour rendering with fuji films in the past than I ever had with Kodak.

There are people claiming it can potentially record 29.2 stops of dynamic range.

So many years that "When Pentax releases a FF!" became an adynaton similar to "When pigs fly!"

I'm not criticizing Fuji; rather, I think many fans of digital photography have been eager to see what Fuji would do with MF. To give Digitalis' statement a bit of a twist, I'm expecting Fuji to do something either oddly brilliant or brilliantly odd.

As long as it is not based on the GX680 it should be good.

Fuji has lots of experience making Large Format lenses as does Nikon
