Much better windows, and the others were called awning windows and they were old, almost 60 years old. Getting brittle, the glass that is, and the winders didn't work anymore, leaving it hard to keep air in, as in heat nor would they lock closed.
The new ones are double pane, slide up to open and automatically lock when closed.
Nice squirrel shots Photolady, as usual! Congrats on the new windows, they make a big difference. I have great windows in my house and they save me a bundle on heating/cooling. You will surely enjoy them!

@fs999 Thanks for posting that one over here FS, we appreciate you visiting us with a handsome squirrel anytime. That was shot with the Pentax 560...right? If you want to lend that lens out to squirrel shooters here once in a while, I see no problem in doing so...feel free to offer! Remember, I am 1st on that list!

Regards!

Here is another for you. I threw some sunflower seeds out and replenished the sap, these four showed up to gorge on the sunflower seeds:

My trees are too tall to see a lurker. That's why I started feeding 8 years ago so they'd come down for me to photograph them.

Not a problem here, I think my squirrels are afraid of heights?

Franc, you have some neat handsome squirrels over there. My squirrels are wanting to grow some of that fancy ear hair and Otis asked me to Photoshop him some to see how he'd look?

Personally, I think it looks better on your squirrels?

I can see you trying to do that with the real Otis. Nice try Rupert. LOL

After the sap again today, this one found it not easy to keep it off his hands though.

Looks like he has aged with the hair growing out of his ears. Maybe if you color it gray?

Otis didn't like it....he said it made him look "girly". He even asked me to remove it from this thread. Maybe I will...maybe I won't?

I do prefer just the "Regular Otis" !
