Glad you got it! It is a nice shot of a fine and handsome little critter!

Regards!

This one has been coming here awhile. Last week he came scampering up to my flower box, and tried to see in my window. I was afraid that time to try to pick up the camera as I might scare him away. This morning he was back, I reached behind me, picked up the K-30 Blue Boy and the squirrel never moved. He's begging for peanuts. Soon as I got the photo, I talked to him, then threw some peanuts out the window to him. He grabbed it and was gone in two seconds.

Here is a very presidential squirrel. I took this at the Mount Vernon Estate of George Washington. I think the squirrel was more interested in the grove of black walnut trees than the historical significance of the site.

I built this squirrel house for my friends in the backyard. I filled it with dried leaves and cedar chips. the bottom is 1/4" mesh screen.
I put it about 20 feet up in the tree and put some peanuts on it. I hope they like it.

I hope they come feed. I don't think I would have cedar chips though, they're awfully strong smelling.

Here's one from today's SIC:

And one more from same challenge but two days ago.

Cedar is actually slightly toxic - you can't use it as the bedding for snakes and reptile vivariums for that reason, I don't know how squirrels are with it.

Have you never noticed nothing grows under a cedar tree? We had two here and both are gone now but when they were standing, I never saw squirrels sitting in them for periods of time like they do in our oaks.
