That's the kind of stories Otis loves! Otis says the guys arm looks like it is still stuck on the steering wheel.....anyhow that's how he sees it. Little blind orphan squirrels will love this bedtime story! Squirrels always have the right-of-way!

Nice lookin' squirrels you guys are posting, much appreciated!

Otis has found the legendary Peanut Tree....or he has taken up using a pacifier?

Regards & post more squirrels!

"Part of The Chase"

Cross-posted from "Daily Challenge (By Month).'
This image is part of an experiment with an Auto Takumar 1:2.3/35 and Auto Prinz Var-I-Rim Tele Converter for Pentax on a handheld K-S2. The image was captured through window glass, significantly cropped, and processed in Viveza 2 from the Nik Collection.

No black squirrels here...though Otis welcomes any color into his Giant Army. He said he would love to have a platoon of black squirrels for night fighting against the raccoons that rob his feeders every night.

Reckon what that little fellow on the right is thinking? ...."he got too close to Otis' pile of burning rubber tires?"

Regards & you guys keep those squirrels coming.....red or yellow, black or white, they are handsome in Otis' sight.....

I installed the squirrel feeder a couple weekends ago. It's a bit heavy duty, 7/8" thick walnut, but that will help the squirrels with their upper body workout.

I saw my first customer today when I came home for lunch. I was so excited I grabbed my camera and started clicking away without looking at any previews. After five or six shots, I couldn't resist and watched the last preview pop-up 'No card in camera'

Inserted the SD card and managed a shot before the squirrel ran off. At least I know they found it!

Otis commends you for your dedication and your decision to help feed the poor little starving squirrels of this world. I am sure that it will pay off for you with many fine shots of these handsome critters!

You are the first to receive this prestigious award...be sure you save it, all Otis Awards count toward a prize he will give away sometime in 2016. We have no idea what it may be, but he has assured me it won't be a box of blind orphan squirrels!

Frame it and hang it...it is the first Citizen Squirrel Award from Otis!

Best Regards & Keep up the great work!

Norm......Great shot as usual...Otis appreciates your squirrel dedication more than you can know!

Years ago I bought an inexpensive 500mm Sakar (not a mirror lens) through the Marketplace at Pentaxforums.com.
In January I captured this image, through window glass, as part of the social group Daily Challenge (by month).
