As for the cheater branches, did you use green branches?
Nope...I used dead limbs....but it doesn't matter.

Nice shots.....he was wondering if he needed to call for the Otis Army?

Another one from me so far this morning.
Nice shot too Photolady...so handsome!

Squirrels are very adaptive. Even at 90F and 75% humidity they will inhabit a hot box to hog the feed supply.

Regards!

When you guys are in other threads, invite others to post their squirrel shots here......many don't know we exist. Anyone is also welcome to add that Otis Appreciation Seal to their signature...it's free...the $500 copyright fee was paid by Otis, so you are all welcome.
Thank Mark Jerling for the design of that Otis Seal!

It signifies that you are willing to support other Pentaxians and show respect to them and Pentax gear....and of course, squirrels!

I can't tell one squirrel from another here. They all look the same except when they turn their butt to me. But as far as naming one, it wouldn't do any good because their coloring is always the same. No distinct marks of any kind that I can tell.

Thanks! I always show my wife your squirrel pictures, and that "Squirrel Sauna", gave her a good laugh too.

Must be siblings.

Look at that nut, looks like the best nut ever.

I can beat you to it.

Hey! That's my nut.

No it's not.

Yes it is.

I didn't want that stinking nut anyways.

Thanks for commenting photolady95

I put out some water in an old pie plate. Every morning it's knocked over and filthy, but I'd never seen anyone use it. Today I caught this guy.

Wonderful shots Norm.....some of your very best! Very enjoyable viewing indeed! That is true Pro shooting!

Only got time for one squirrel shot today...gotta feel sorry for the rough life of squirrels here in the Woods of Otis.

This guy prefers the bird feeder that spins vs the squirrel feeder that is full of the same food.

They always prefer the "forbidden fruit". Nice shot!

I just read an article in Modern Squirrel Monthly written by Otis Squirrel that claims squirrel are the original "tree huggers"........you know, he could be right?

Looking over my photos on my hard disk, I found some pictures of Otis' cousin in London, taken way back in 2010. It was taken by a Sony DSC W7, so only jpg OOC. Here is one, I only adjusted the colors and contrast a bit. It was taken in Victoria Park, during a rock festival (High Voltage 2010) were Emerson, Lake and Palmer performed. I think, he liked it. Although the grass wasnt green anymore...

Strangely, the London squirrels seem to have another color than the german ones, which are red.

Regards,
Andreas

Good shot Anndreas. TFS a different squirrel. I like seeing what others have in other countries where, at my age, I'll never get to see in person.

Here's two more from my backyard. I have more on my new 64GB SDXC card but have to wait until Sunday to upload them. I bought the card then realized my card reader doesn't read SDXC cards.....new reader will be here Sunday.
