Got Squirrel Shots? (In memorial of Rupert)

My first squirrel shot using my Promaster 100-400.

Not the world's greatest lens but as others have commented, it is the least expensive way to hit 400mm.

Here are a few new squirrel shots for you guys! These are form the Otis "Starving Squirrel Collection". Just breaks my heart to see little orphan squirrels out in the cold and snow wasting away.......

Hey, did I miss the frenzy this year? Think I might have... This winter's been so cold! It's hard to go out shooting when it's -15C. Here's one from yesterday though! (WSSA#475PX)

We haven''t had a Frenzy.....but might have one in late May or early June......Watch for a post about it in the Photo Thread soon!

You would not like it here, we have no squirrels. Supposedly we also have no rats but the last couple of years some were found in the landfill and the Alberta Rat Patrol was called in to keep the province rat free. There are squirrles to the SE and to the West but 50 to 200 miles of a shortage of trees between us and them.

Loved your squirrel and corn shot, the first one in Post 65. Here we have to eat our corn for ourselves.

In a way, I'm jealous. I hardly ever see a squirrel at my house. Weird, since we live way out in the country, with trees everywhere. Maybe they don't like my yard. They're definitely around here. On the other hand, maybe it's a good thing they don't hang out in my yard after all the stories I've heard of Otis' followers causing destruction and mayhem...
