On my bird feeder post, it's a 4x4 wood, and there isn't any baffle I could get to fit that. The post is topped with another 4x4 to make a cross to hang feeders on. And to your reference about tape........nope, they'd chew that off. I know. I tried fixing my other feeder, that Squirrel be Gone, and they chewed the tape off the hole.

Besides, I don't begrudge them the little they eat. When I see them on the post or on the feeder, I realize they don't have any feed on the ground.

(luckily the hawk eats birds as a rule)

I believe your last shot is a rarely seen Warp Squirrel, just exiting into sub-light speed.

Love the shot with the red squirrel and green moss.

In this harvest season of more-than-plenty, our local squirrels aren't even very interested in bribes {i.e., food put out}. Besides, many of them are busy at their assigned task of planting new oak trees.
