Otis just placed an order for 10,000 of these,,,,maybe your squirrels need them too?

the thing is...doves take less crap than any of the birds at our house
I've seen them go toe-to-toe with squirrels quite often and they don't lose

perhaps they lose focus or shut their eyes during CQB but they (ours anyway) tend to go for a beak butt right at the squirrel's crown
that usually settles things
a thump upside the head usually does

are you sure you want to start an arms race?
rodents with Lilliputian automatic weapons could readily escalate to avian-borne weaponry of all sorts

an errant hellfire would have serious consequences

interspecies conflict over peanut butter...???
I suppose civilizations have crumbled over less

BTW...a fellow posted an image of a snapping turtle
has Otis considered an alliance whereby turtles would provide amphibious assault capabilities for his territorial expansion?

just a thought
everyone knows you really can't trust a turtle

Nice shot...and anytime is a good time! Love his look of "awe" at the sight of that sap!

lookie at what was actually there

often as a predator, it is movement that catches our attention.

while strolling today at the Topeka Zoological Park, I saw the squirrel in the back ground as it ran across the grass and stopped at the tree. I never saw the other guy

not until he started to move.

Is this common?

I wonder how common the white fur at the back of the ears is.

By the way, this is a grab shot with a Tokina 500mm f/8 mirror lens on a K-S2, and the image was captured through the glass of a sliding door.

Otis said they are slow learners and are pathetic at tree climbing.

Yep, they are not like trustworthy squirrels!

I see a sneak attack coming!

Good question. Mine seldom have any white hair, and often not even any little tufts extending out. That is a good mirror lens shot!

Regards! Keep the squirrels coming! As long as they are busy viewing here, they aren't wreaking havoc out in the world!

Photolady, Otis has been examining that shot in his photo lab and he determined that the sap is much thicker than on the Peanut Tree here. Without my approval, he called out a arboriculturist...at my expense...who recommended buying the larger size commercial "Creamy Fertilizer".

I did and now will wait and see if it meets Otis' approval.
