Walked through Kensington Gardens and Hyde Park again earlier this week, but for some reason most of the squirrels seemed to have vanished. I did see one fellow doing his best to ignore the humans and concentrate on more important things:

Nice ones Photolady! Squirrels are so unpredictable!

Nice ones too! Yep, they are unpredictable......may be a dozen or more or only one...you just never know?

What I do know is that a rainstorm will not keep away a hungry squirrel intent on robbing a bird suet feeder!

Nice photos Pentaxians, funny looking creatures though. TFS

I got two more today. Raining all day, not many out and about, especially not me.

the look

I couldn't get the angle to incorporate the full dramatic tableau but this the steely-eyed determination required to gain exclusive access to the peanut feeder

his competitor upped stakes posthaste

Two more processed today. Have more to process later.

Some PF in this one. Going to have to go back to using f8 on these.

First time seeing the Black giant squirrel in the wild, info from the Wiki is currently under category of Near Threatened. Head and body length varies from 35 to 58 cm (14 to 23 in) in length, and the tail is up to 60 cm (24 in) long, with an overall length of up to 118 cm (46 in). The back, ears and bushy tail are deep brown to black with a lighter buff-colored belly.
