Love that last one Photolady, the look they get when anticipating that wonderful sap is priceless!

"I'd like to get that look...but those Big Guys ate it all!"

I hope this little guy doesn't get his head blown off like old Chucky did when the sap spout erupted like a volcano.

Regards!

Need to get the Pacific Northwest represented here,
We have to put up with those big grey squirrels too, but the native Douglas Squirrels can still be found.
Caught this little guy at the Audubon Nature Center in Sequim,Helping himself to the bird food.

This little guy would run out in the sunshine grab a sunflower seed, then scamper over the birdbath shadow and eat.

Are chipmunks allowed in here? They are in the ground squirrel family.

We have high humidity and high temps here too but our 60 year old house didn't come with A/C and my mom didn't like it and didn't want it. So, we're now stuck with an old block house with no insulation and no A/C.

Couple shots of one I call Piglet. He continued to stuff himself for two hours.

At 1pm he took a break:
Great pictures. I can see why you call it piglet.

Some from today, not many because two new windows were installed and had to wait for the workers to finish. Will include shot of one window after squirrels are loaded.

And the west window before installation:

Much better windows, and the others were called awning windows and they were old, almost 60 years old. Getting brittle, the glass that is, and the winders didn't work anymore, leaving it hard to keep air in, as in heat nor would they lock closed.
The new ones are double pane, slide up to open and automatically lock when closed.
