Photography has taken a backseat to the rest of life for a bit, so I've been away and didn't see this! I may have posted this image elsewhere years back, but it's one of my very first shots as a Pentaxian!

Out in Kensington Gardens again testing an 18-55 lens on my Nikon. Not as close as I would have liked, the little sod didn't want to cooperate, but I think he was cute:

full size versions and the rest of the shoot are here:

Also almost a week without internet connection but I still had power/electric. But I'm back in form today.

Here are few squirrels I shot while waiting on the net to come back.

This one from today.

The first two were shot as jpg and with my K-30 Blue Boy, it developed a problem where it wouldn't let me set the date and kept reverting to another month, then it wouldn't let me change the day other than 01 to 12. So yesterday afternoon I pulled the battery and left it out for 24 hours,
Today I reinstalled the battery and reset my other settings all is well. To me this is procedure is like resetting the CMOS in a computer. I hope it keeps it's settings now.

Been enjoying the many recent fine squirrel shots posted here. As some may know, I am in the hospital and will be missing in action for a while. I hope to be back here sooner than later and post a few more handsome squirrels. Meanwhile, many thanks to you guys/gals for keeping this one of the favorite threads here at PForums!

Best Regards!

Ok, I didn't know you were in the hospital. I even cruised through the "why I won't buy a K3 thread and didn't find anything except you and them talking about what you had to eat there and the steroids.

So, what's up?

That's............. just scary. Sorry to hear that too. Hope they get you better so you can come home.

51 years of marriage, I can't even imagine that. That's amazing in itself, Rupert.

And as the words my granddaughter tells me when I get sick and I say to you now........"you can't die." We need you here.

That's what Otis says to me! I think he worries about sap and cold beer the most?

Best Regards!
