These are great squirrel shots, Norm. I think the last one especially catches the Otis spirit well.

You shouldn't take this too personally.
My experience is that if a squirrel finds a treasure that will take more than a minute to consume, he'll climb a tree and consume it in peace.
I've one do that in my backyard even when he gives no sign of even being aware that a human is around.

Well This is the first time I have seen Miss Twinky in a few days See has been around because the two seed cakes are gone and the holder is in the feeder I put out for the dried meal worms.

A Little to Close With an Open Window!

Well Miss Twinky visited us again on Saturday morning after some spells of heavy rain showers. I had to put Pi Kitty in the bedroom and open the window as it was to wet to get decent shots. I am glad that she decided Not to jump in the window . She was close enough to touch, but I didn't think that was a good idea

It's time to pile wood again. Every time there's a wood pile in the driveway, there are squirrels making nests and hiding nuts in it.

Nice photo. When we were in Massachusetts and had a wood-burning fireplace insert, it was chipmunks that made their home in our woodpile.

Our chipmunks tend to be in holes in the ground. I think the squirrels chase them out of the woodpile.
