Norm, your squirrels know you're not a big bad dude same as I do. You're just a teddy bear and that's why they don't leave when you get close.

Brother put sprinklers out to green up our grass and he put one in the backyard yesterday, near the feeders, and close to the birdbath. The squirrels and doves came to eat. and the water never bothered either. I think they enjoyed the coolness from the extreme heat of the day too.

You need to also load the photo, not just a link. According the rules of PentaxForums.

Say what?!

This little lady just loves when I grill, doesn't matter what's cooking.

I was out in the back checking if my "apparently" ground based young Blackbird and trying out my new to me Minolta APO 100-300mm. Apologies for not using my Pentax.
My concrete Squirrel did not seem to mind.

The new tripod came in but it's too short except to shoot through the bottom window, or taken outside and sit in a chair. But I got these babies through the bottom window yesterday.

Might have been praying that the impulse to eat it's body weight in peanuts will not happen again soon.

Last winter, our twenty-something daughters told me that our squirrels were entirely too fat. The squirrels didn't agree.

The squirrels need that excess body fat to survive the winter.

Reduces the need for tire fires to keep warm.
