It has been rainy around here, but the squirrels still expect me to feed them.
They will be very disappointed when I decide that nature is doing fine without my help.

My showing up apparently changed things. The cat couldn't keep his eyes off me, and the squirrel dumped some corn on the cat until it left.

It sometimes seems that squirrels have two categories of daily activity: 1) eating; 2) everything else.

This desperate guy managed to spill some of the bird seed apparently, but I inspected it afterwards and didn't see any real damage.
