@redox61 What a neat series of shots! They can be friendly little fellows...if you have some good eats for them!

I had to stop hand feeding mine when they decided to start spitting on me when I didn't deliver their "special orders"...like exotic nuts from the Amazon, and ice cold beer.....

Regards!

One from today's SIC:

They've been scarce lately, even though I'm still putting out the sap, the sunflower seeds and peanuts, there is not a lot of them around.

I got a great deal on a Super-Multi-Coated Takumar 5.6 400mm at a thrift shop. It's in very nice clean condition inside and out with a tripod collar.
Tested it out in the backyard today;

Well, I learned something today. I didn't know Panasonic cameras could use Pentax Tak lenses. Nice shot too. TFS blumoon.

Here is one from my Sigma 400mm f5.6 @f9

Nice shots Photolady, Blumoon! Still only the Jumper Squirrel around here.....it is so strange to look out and not see at least a dozen squirrels. I bet the first cold spell will bring them running back?

Regards!

Nothing to post! My squirrels are also missing. For that matter, so are my birds despite all of the sunflower seeds and peanuts I put out. I am sure they will be back. I have a lot of Tulip trees and Oaks in the woodlands just off my yard. I think the squirrels are stocking up on that before they come to my feeders. Its been in the low 80's here and no rain in a month. This is unusual, it should be in high 60's and plenty moist at this time of the year. I wonder if that has something to the birds and squirrels taking a hiatus from my feeders.
