This sounds real good.
As an owner of an XE-2, I am looking forward to see this.
I just might be tempted with FF after all !

That Rico is missing a "h"...

Edit: Are regular XF lenses FF compatible? wording seems a bit strange

It's about time for Fuji. Sad to see them coming out with one before Pentax.

Wow. But which of the existing XF lenses are able to fill the FF image circle?

Took the words right out of my mouth. Back in january I still had high hopes for a Pentax FF this year. Sad. They are all at full pace regarding FF, except for Pentax. I sympathise with Fuji, their way of going about their lens roadmap deserves respect.

EDIT: I don't think Fuji is coming with a FF camera though. It seems they will put a 24mp crop sensor in the new to be announced body. Just take a look on the Fuji rumors page.
That should give Pentax some time...

Chris

Did I miss something or do the words "full frame" not appear anywhere on that page?

None. The current X-mount is too small for a FF sensor to be installed. I kind of wonder if there isn't a typo in the announcement. I can't see Fuji using the same name for both lens mounts.

It does say "FULL SIZED SENSOR" and "NEW LINEUP OF CAMERA". Obviously that is open for interpretation. I don't think many people refer to APS-C as "FULL SIZED" since it is a cropped 36x24. APS-C is a half-sized sensor by design.

There is also a chance that Fuji is about to release an organic sensor and announce the X-PRO 2.

No, only full size sensor.
It may be just marketing bla-bla but Fuji says they will show "full size sensor" cameras. | Mirrorless Rumors

There is no way the Fujifilm XF 10-24mm F4 R OIS is a full frame lens.

It's such strange wording. Either poor translation or maaayyybbee they have a X100S style FF camera coming in addition to X mount lenses showing.
