Decent Pocket Compact - LX7 or RX100?
I have a K-30 I am very happy with, an MX I am getting to grips with, and a GR that I am finding quite tricky to use in a variety of circumstances. I had hoped the GR would provide the 'packet camera' that I could ALWAYS have with me just in case I needed something.
However, as a fixed lens camera, and no shake-reduction, I'm finding it a dream for carefully constructed shots, but really not the right piece for instant spur of the moment pics.
I've been looking at the Panasonic LX7, and the Sony RX100. I've read countless reviews that place the Sony way ahead but, after playing around in the camera shop, I found the Sony far too fiddly, and the LX7 just beautiful to hold.
LX7 has a relatively low spec, but is still quite new and has Leica design influence. Anyone spotted (or know of) any obvious flaws in the LX7? Or know of anything else I should be considering? I'm looking for: small, RAW-capable, Av/TV/M/P positions.
thanks in advance.
