Doesn’t look like the LX100 is selling to well in the UK? Just seen it with 280 knocked of, RRP of 799 now 519, Thats only 90 more then the X30 which has had a 50 reduction (still 200 more then I paid for my X30.....)

Did they miss their market or are they trying to compete with the RX100II (60 cheaper) and X30.
The RX100II is dearer at 599 but that has still had 200 knocked off!

Cheers, Steve

I really thought I would buy this camera, but after a week of limiting my shooting to the same range with my X20, I realized that I would be very unhappy with the loss of the extended range I get with the X20. There are just too many situations where you can't zoom with your feet, and the X10/X20/X30 will usually get you close enough to get the shot without having to rely on cropping.
The reviews on the LX100 seem good enough, at DPR it got a good score.....but the range may be too limiting for others like me? Anyhow, it doesn't have that very neat "Classic Chrome" like the new X30.......that's almost enough to make me add one to my Toy Camera collection!

Regards!

I doubt you would be disappointed Rupert I was a tad worried about build quality now they are built in China but it’s as good as the X10 and has a nice bulk to it, the new grip feels nice, it’s not as classic looking as the X10 but it feels a tad better in hand.
I’m not sure if would be nice of an upgrade from the X20, but the EVF is very nice as is the new rear screen.

Cheers, Steve

Skank...I'm going to enjoy what you and Mr Bassie post with your X30s and see what Fuji brings out next in a Toy Camera...if they do? You guys do so much better than me that I would probably be embarrassed to post my X30 shots alongside of yours.
China build does not worry me....some of the best stuff I have, including some nice boots were made in China. Mrs Rupert's new little Nextbook 10.1" Transformer is a marvel, and she is thrilled with it. Operates wonderfully, has all you need and the build quality is superb....made in China.

Remember.....we are counting on you guys over in the Toy Camera thread........"Classic Chrome rocks"!! You don't get it on a Nikon...but you do on a Fuji!

Regards!
