This one will explain all :

Canon Powershot SX60 HS
Previous video was @ 160x Zoom or there abouts , this one is 260x Zoom .
Not my camera , I borrowed it from my brother to get some moon video .

Was mounted on a heavy tripod , and allowed to run as the earth turned .

Oh right, not a Pentax HDSLR then?
You might have posted in the wrong forum.
Neat clip, though not my choice in music

Personally I'd post anything shot with another brand of camera here:
Non-Pentax Cameras: Canon, Nikon, etc.

Noice! (yeah 'even for a Canon,...' )
I was going to ask about the lens too, but.
Looked at the direction the Moon rose in, and thought 'Southern Hemsphere',.. and just looked at your city Old4570.
Hrm, I got Jan12 for seniority,...

Did you do anything for the Blood Moon? I was on Princes Bridge with the K-01, 2x Tele and 400mm Prime, and got no where near that close to the frame filled sizing.
Did get swamped by tourists - the LCD of the K-01 was very popular....

I did this exact same thing on Tuesday evening, but with a 400mm and doubler, so the moon doesn't quite fill the frame.

Hijacking?

FWIIW, I always use manual mode for TL sequences and lock the exposure down.

Blue moon ? = No ..
My brother only just got the Canon , and knowing it had super zoom , I wanted to do a decent moon video , so quickly borrowed the camera .
I may need to try this with 1500mm of lens , but even then , I don't think it comes close to the canons super zoom

No, not 'Blue', 'Blood'.
Lunar Eclipse during a full moon - still gotta get time to process some pix and video of it - Moon turns red as it's only getting the red light coming though the Earth's atmosphere, the blue and green light is scattered by the air.

Oh right , I saw it , but the conditions were not great for photography at my 10/20 .
+ My brother only got the Canon in the last week or so .

I have a few moon shots some where .. From way back when I first joined .. ( There is one in my album )

Old4570 : This might be of use to you with the SX60.

CHDK Wiki

CHDK is what Magic Lantern was spun off from, allows you to modify the operation of the Canon's with some excellent extra functions, including being able to change the data-rate / compression level that the video CoDec uses, enabling lower compression and higher quality vision.
