Hi Folks,

I have been looking for an entry level DSLR camera. I saw an ad that Nikon is selling refurbished D3200 cameras for $259.00. It comes with a 18-55 lens. The question is this: Why has Nikon refurbished so many of these cameras? Was there something wrong with them? Did Nikon successfully correct the camera problem?

I think Nikon sells way more of their entry-level models than any others (as do most manufacturers). So instead of scrapping bodies that are returned as defective, they repair them and put them back up for sale.

Splurge on a K-50 for 40 more bucks and pick up an 18-55 on the used market for another $30.
