culture is valuable . natural, even , possibly ..
a subject for other places i guess.
but they say so many , just languages ,alone , are disappearing ..

what if too ,there had been no frederick remington, or charles russell ..

How did you get on with your test of the focus confirmation with manual lenses? You appear to have nailed it in the shots you have posted.

I have been using my 135 f2.8 A lens again and getting some good results some of the time with it wide open. I use focus peaking with the colour set to red. Always easy to nail the focus if there is nothing behind the subject for the lens to focus on. A bit more difficult when the subject has something close behind for example somebody stood in front of a wall. Easier if the lens is stopped down a bit.

I've settled on focus peaking, in blue, for now...

funny thing, I never use focus peaking on my DSLR's....

I'm working with the Acros sim today, so will be interested to see how that turns out...

Thanks for this.
It really is quite a comprehensive system even if they are missing some sealed, smaller, high quality zooms (e.g., 50-200mm, 16-50mm). I really do wish they would seal the 18-55 (and that the XS-10 had been sealed). I would pay a premium for a sealed 18-55 and 55-200. They did just seal the 10-24mm so I do have hope.

The long zooms/primes are also still missing, but I guess that everyone is hurting right now in the manufacturer space.

😊The 70/300 comes next year,its similar size to 50/230 and 55/200.But,theres been leaks about a 300f4 and 500 f5.6 as well.

They say"When we develop a camera we get a year of customer feedback, then it takes us another year to release it,Lenses, well they take LONGER!"...this industry isnt a popout situation, everybody in every brand has to wait.
