I have the x100t for last three years and love it, craving the x100v for the wr and newer lens but it can wait now I have all the above weight to get used to. If travel looks good you may see me next fall we are talking about a trip that would bring me through Poitier for a few days on way to bordeaux—-edit from experience I would rather the x100 than the xpro with the 18 .... there is an updated 18 coming though...
Cool, if you are in the neighborhood ... please keep me posted!

Missed or just glanced at the info on the new 18mm ... I am drooling over the new 10-24, but really too big for my tastes and way out my budget. For that kind of dough, there's other (Fuji) gear that I would opt for ...

Coming next year sometime and its fast...F1.4.

Not sure why they are making something so close the the superb 16mm F1.4?An updated 18mm F2 compact prime with WR would sell a lot better.

Is that the new one that costs $99?

I can't imagine it's anything other than dreamy at wider apertures but could be fun to play with.

For many things 16mm is just too wide, I think 18mm is a better general-use wide angle lens. Still, the f/2 version is superb despite what some online pixel-peepers say, and I would guess that extra stop will cost a lot of weight, not to mention another $500.
