Provia vs Eterna

I can see why Eterna isn't everyone's cuppa, but will definitely have its uses....
Eterna .. comes with the newer cameras ? Have you tried adjusting the color saturation or tone , etc , yet ?
I kinda think i'd like it for certain subjects . , but that's just me..

Eterna is great if you are shooting video you are going to colour grade (though ideally shooting f-log is best)
Same applies with photos the neutral look is great for later grading rather than starting from a more narrow view

Eterna film was for making movies, back in the day.The H1 was the first body to have it and its been included in all Xtrans Fujis since. There are recipes to tweak ClassicChrome to mimic Eterna for the bodies that have CC.

I was always a fan of the Pro Neg High for backing off the red saturation. Not sure if you've given that a fair shake?

a hair's trigger, innit?

I'm glad it is on a digital camera - I don't know how many frames I've wasted so far....

What would be the reason fuji would let that go through all the design and production ? Not as if no one pressed the shutter on one before they were all shipped out ...

Why would anyone want a hair-trigger , aside from wyatt earp , i mean ?

Easy to tune into, many were disappointed when T3/4 and Pro 3 didn't inherit it as well.

I wasn't complaining at all - it's just so far different from the multiple SLR's and the X-T2...

Those 58mm shots look decent. I've had one on my radar for a few days now at a decent price, I think I'm going to jump on it.

Meanwhile, here's one with the X-T20 and 23/2

Trying a new recipe on XPro2 Monochrome Kodachrome, xf50 f 2.0 iso 6400 1/180. Was designed for 3200 to 12800 iso

Looks like it will be an interesting recipe for night street shots
