The SnapChick is mainly a Nikon Shooter but tries other brands and her and partner like and own 100 series.

She's "discovered" some other SimSettings

So I guess that settles the question of whether it's sharp wide open. Is it really f/1.2 though? Have you checked exposure against a 50/1.4 to see if it lets any more light in? I ask because it just seems incredible that they can sell a well-built, sharp, ultra-fast lens at that price.

exactly!

I've never understood why I need to say what the focal and then what the equivalent focal length is in another format...

it's a 50mm lens... period...
I think it's because the Fuji system is the closest that APS-C currently gets to FF performance given all the fast primes available, so the real fanboys get defensive over it.

Here are a couple of shots with my newly-acquired Minolta 58/1.4 that has a small chip on the front element. Still seems to perform well though.

I am still getting used to it only got it on dec 29th. It is gig, but small compared to any other medium format for the most part. Lenses are excellent , files are enormous, dynamic range is huge deals very well with low iso. That said I miss the ibis of the xh1 .
I do have a couple of full size files on my Flickr

This one is full size

Been busy last couple of days so am behind on processing
Trying to finish up month end duties for work today

completely different characters...

the X-T2 is lighter and easier to carry, almost a light-hearted camera...

the X-H1 is truly a more serious camera, one you would use with consideration, with intent...
